SICA, THE SOUTH INDIA COTTON ASSOCIATION, is a premier organisation representing the Textile Industry, Cotton traders, Cotton brokers & Cotton growers of India.

SICA has developed cotton model farm at its farm land to give field demonstrations to cotton farmers on the use of quality seed & inputs and the modern cotton farm management methods to get quality cotton and maximum yield.

Publication of fortnightly "SICA newsletter" and other circulars and publications. Fixations of Daily Room Rates for various varieties of cotton grown in India				Coimbatore, the Manchester of South India, is renowned as a Cotton City in the international Textile map. SICA is an outcome of the circumstances in the 1960’s and 70’s which witnessed an unprecedented growth of the textile activity.
